Love Kuching Project is a cat rescue group in Singapore entirely run by volunteers and entirely funded by kind-hearted individuals, like you!
We are always looking for funds and support to continue our work of helping injured or chronically ill stray cats in Singapore.
Where your money will go
Boarding
For every cat, their well-being will involve not just water, food and litter but also other medical supplies or consumables. These include supplements or medication prescribed by the vets.
Veterinary
Vet fees constitute a large part of the care that we provide to the cats under our care.
The costs are often unpredictable, particularly for chronically ill cats as their immune system is already compromised and so sometimes, a health issue may occur and we need to rush the cat to the vet immediately.
Operations
This is the more boring yet fundamental component of our mission.
We operate a sanctuary for the safe and comfortable rehabilitation of injured and chronically ill community cats. As such, we need to ensure that we’re able to pay our rent and utilities, as well as a basic internet and phone system to communicate with our volunteers, record and manage the daily care administered to our each cat.
Your contribution will help us keep our shelter going for the cats under our care.
Outreach
Cats can give so much love to people, especially the vulnerable members of society such as the seniors in nursing homes or people in special needs institutions.
Our volunteers help support the elderly or people with special needs on their cognitive, emotional and social development through cat-assisted therapy programmes, and we recruit suitable felines and their owners to share their love for cats with them.
Rescue Assistance
We also help when rescuers need financial and veterinary support.
In situations where rescuers are able to foster a sick or injured community cat but is unable to pay for an initial vet bill, we will offer some financial support so that these community cats will receive the care it needs from the very beginning.
