Setting up Standing Instructions with DBS Bank

Step 1: Log on to DBS here.

Step 2: Go to Funds Transfer.

Step 3: Select Standing Instruction: Manage Instructions and Settings.

Step 4: Select Add New Standing Instruction.

Step 5: Under To Account — DBS/POSB Bank, select Add New Payee.

Step 6: Add DBS Current Account 027-907655-0 as a new payee. Our full name is Love Kuching Project.

Step 7: Enter your name (max 12 characters) under My Initials. As an example, JoeyThum would work better than JT. This is how we can identify you as a donor, especially if you have signed up for our Adopt-A-Cage program.

Step 8: Confirm our payee account. You can then return to Set Up Standing Instruction to enter the rest of your fund transfer information!

Step 2: Go to Add Beneficiary.

Step 3: Under Beneficiary Account Information enter the following:

  • Bank name: DBS
  • Account number: 027-907655-0

Step 4: Enter your name (max 12 characters) under My Initials. As an example, JoeyThum would work better than JT. This is how we can identify you as a donor, especially if you have signed up for our Adopt-A-Cage program.

Step 5: Under About Beneficiary enter the following:

  • Name: Love Kuching Project
  • Email address: fundraising@lovekuchingproject.org

This enables OCBC to notify us automatically when the transfer has been completed.

Step 2: Go to Funds Transfer: Add Payee.

Step 3: Under Payee Account enter the following:

  • Bank name: DBS
  • Account number: 027-907655-0

Step 4: Enter your name (max 12 characters) under My Initials. As an example, JoeyThum would work better than JT. This is how we can identify you as a donor, especially if you have signed up for our Adopt-A-Cage program.

Step 5: Go to Make Transfer.

Step 6: Under Transfer Type, select Recurring; under Frequency, select Monthly.

Step 7: You may set up to 12 transfers (for 12 months), after which, you will have to reset your standing instructions for the next 12 months. This is a requirement set by UOB.
